MODULO
After the great success of the Italian foundry «Nebiolo» in the 60s, they carried out a range of tests and studied legibility in order to develop a universal and perfectly legible typeface. «Modulo» was the result of this dubious process, that included a 7:10 grid for stroke-thickness, the slant of italics and even the spacing. My interpretation sticks to classic methods, but the skeleton preserves the avant-garde aesthetic and pays homage to this incredible story and effort.
